Burt, listen to anonymous, but remember your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, your children, hope i get the message accross. years ago the same thing happened to me,i also talked my wife into going and seeing Dr. Judy. Her way of dealing with couples is totally different than anyone else that i have heard of, se see's you alone, and between the three of you, without seeing each other you all decide if croup counceling with the three of you is right.
well if there is anything that i have learnt from her it is remember your children.(period) theye are the most fragile and important people in your life. The second thing (and from reading your blogs i think we are in the same boat) is remember YOURSELF.
You are a good person, DO NOT let ANYONE tell you any different.
One of these days I will get the courage to e-mail you. and I think we have crossed paths at least one along the way, then again mayebe not.
This quote, which I found on her old blog site should be repeated perhaps, back to her. "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. - Martin Luther King, Jr."
Our love and prayers go out to you Burt. You have more people supporting you and understanding you than you could imagine!
To the previous anonymous user, (whose comment has been deleted) if you feel the need to bash me, do it without hiding. For the record, I know who you are. At the very least, the stuff I said about you was never intended to be read by your eyes. But even though I was naive to think you (and others) would never read my words, at least I had the guts to say it out in the open. I didn’t hide my identity.
Anon- How to solve the dilemma of not knowing how to contact each other when I am not willing to post my email address for all the world to see? Perhaps we can meet somehow on the Desert Island? Nikki
Wow. I was shocked when I read this post and I was shocked when I read the comments 'people' left.
IMHO, I find it amusing that people believe you're not thinking of your children. In addition, to tell someone who is suicidal that it's selfish is the the ultimate in insensitivity.
Life sucks sometimes. I hurt for you and as has been said, you have a lot of support. Reach out for us when you need to- we will be there.
Wow. Had you seen the deleted comments, you might really have been upset. One of my former classmates is happy about it, and is hoping that I feel really "shitty" right now.
These are the stories of my life in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. The names have not been changed. My focus will be on all the classmates and teachers I encountered over the years. To the best of my knowledge, everything I write here is true. However I admit that some things may not be. If I have another source, I will do my best to name that source. However, secondhand information is not always accurate. If I've made a mistake, please tell me.
I never considered myself to be a true member of Washington High School's class of 1989. But I was, in name only.
I mean no malice or carry no grudges to anyone I write about. This blog is for me and me alone. These are my opinions. They may not be facts. However, I will never knowingly post something that is false. This is my point of view of my former classmates.
On the off chance that anyone I write about happens to see any of this, and are offended, dont be! These are simply my opinions based on experiences from many years ago. My opinions are not a reflection on who you are now or who you were then. Besides, people can change. The pricks of yesteryear may be the saints of today - and vice versa.
Welcome to my mind.

Time will help.
Takes things day by day.
Your kids are number one priority right now.
Children need their father.
Suicide is not the solution and very selfish decision.
Consider the role of faith, prayer and religion in your life.
I wish you well and will pray for your healing.
Yes. Anonymous is right.
Day by day, my friend...
I found this quote. It's absolutely true.
Damaged people are dangerous. They know they can survive. ~Josephine Hart

Today, the role of Horrible Wife will be played by: me.
Let us all remember there are three sides to every story: Your side, my side, and the truth.
Understanding that it is your blog, your forum, my side has no place here. And I do not wish to post about this topic on my blog.
But if Anonymous, who seems to know me somehow, would like to speak to me directly, my door is open. That invitation is open to anyone, actually.
Signed,
Nikki

Burt, that classmate is a great big jerk! To be happy because of someone else's pain if awful.
